Emperor Karl VI built this church to celebrate the Archbishop of Milan, St. Charles Borromeo, for the help he gave plague sufferers during the 1713 epidemic. It is huge and richly embellished and painted. We were able to get all the way to the top to see the frescoes on the ceiling, about 243 feet above the floor! I did not look down.
Yeh, Norm, you look like you didn't get much sleep. But, on the other hand, you look like you're having a blast. You can sleep when you get home.
